Happy list Friday. Feels like the perfect way to jump back into A Touch of Lovely. Because YAY!, I’m jumping back into A Touch of Lovely and I’m not totally sure where to start. So why not start with a few things that have been bringing me joy lately.
Backyard limelight hydrangeas in full bloom. They feel like peak summer and speak to my inner Ina living her best life in the Hamptons heart.I’m usually a novel reading kind of gal but I heard Katherine May interviewed and was left wondering how she knew what was going on in my head. I instantly checked out the audiobook on Libby and was so taken I bought the book so I could own the words. “Enchantment is small wonder magnified through meaning,”…yes, yes, yes to this. (for what it’s worth the audiobook was the way to go)This style of jeans has been my summer outfit staple. So casual, so comfortable, such a gd relief to be away from the mom jeans style that did absolutely nothing for my shape. Just bought these secondhand for fall/winter for a more tailored take on the style. They are either going to be super fun and chic or absolutely atrocious on me. (pic)Do yourself a favor and buy these for the kids in your life before the summer is over. Endless fun, kids can fill themselves and no waste.Sausage party for the win! I have been leaning heavily into this party theme idea from Alison Roman’s Nothing Fancy for my summer hosting duties because it’s funny to say and easy to do. A variety of sausages, a big salad, summer fruit and a shit ton of condiments to play with. This curry mustard I found at Met Market has been my favorite.
Woohoo! I love a touch of lovely! 🙂
Hope you, Jimmy and the kids are well. I miss you guys
