It blows my mind that after more than a year of living in my neighborhood I continue to find new places to explore. A few weeks back I made a comment about my favorite store of all time in Seattle called Chef Shop to the sweet gal checking me out at the grocery store. Chef Shop is a store entirely devoted to pantry staples of the highest quality possible and to say I am obsessed would be a massive understatement. To my surprise not only did this kind woman inform me of a store with similar goodies but it is within walking distance of my house! WHAAATTT?! Gourmet & More is a teeny tiny cheese shop, grocery and cafe featuring beautiful French culinary fare. It has a well edited selection of mustards, oils, honey, wine, etc all imported from France. I wanted one of everything so to calm myself down I stuck to ordering lunch and vowed to visit again. Check it out next time you are in Hayes!
