Open kitchens are my favorite

As a self proclaimed foodie I have to admit I failed you on this post. Everything was perfect…a beautifully inviting restaurant, friends to share a meal and THE BEST FRESH CALAMARI I HAVE EVER HAD. Yes, the best. Ever. And what did I do?…I forgot to take a picture. I’m sorry. I’m soooo so sorry. And I promise you on everything I will go back and get it again to make it up to you. But you will just have to trust me that the calamari alone was worth stopping at Chalkboard in Healdsburg. Oh and by the way, the rest of the meal was outstanding as well and the wine list had lovely options like Rose of Nebbiolo, so yeah, put this stop on your list next time you are in wine country.
