What a lovely lovely restaurant. Nopa is not just a place to eat. It’s a place to visit with a friend, watch artists working their craft, observe people laughing and to enjoy a content moment of life. As I sit here thinking back on the few times I’ve eaten there I’m realizing it might be my favorite place to dine in San Francisco. It’s just really well done. Everything from the laid back atmosphere to the kind and conversational staff to the rustic, local and seasonal approach to food…it all speaks to me and my foodie heart. Dinner is delicious but if you have the chance to grab a spot at the bar or the community table for brunch, you are in for a real treat. Insider tip, the french toast is not to be missed.
