When the sun comes out in San Francisco people go crazy to find an outdoor space to soak up some rays and sip some bevvies. So I really shouldn’t have been shocked when the line for the rooftop deck at El Techo de Lolinda, a new-ish rooftop deck I had been dying to try in the Mission, was at least 45 people long. 45 people!!! Just to get on the list! I was pretty bummed as my sunny rooftop dreams were crushed but I persevered and a few weeks later was able to snag a spot with some buddies for a late afternoon cocktail and plate of Chicharrones. People, listen to me. These chicharrones were so good I think I would stand and wait in that 45 person line just to get one bite. I’m talking some of the best prepared meat I’ve ever had…like out of ALL MEAT. I can’t wait to get back for more and hope to see you waiting in line with me. Go and get ’em!
