oyster sampler: Pt Reyes Atlantic (my fave), Tomales Bay Kumamoto, Marin Miyagi (not for the faint of heart, it’s a big guy)
I. LOVE. TOMALES. (not to be confused with tamales which I also love) Seriously, if you live in the Bay Area or are in town visiting and want to get out of the city you absolutely must go explore the beautiful Tomales Bay area. There is so much to do, see and explore and we didn’t even hit the famed Hog Island Oyster (which looked as cool as the hype). Below is a little insight into our adventure but I highly recommend you go and create your own!
Fascinating information on oyster farming here and more day trips from San Francisco in this post.

Enjoying a Napa Sauvignon Blanc with great minerality to compliment the briney oysters at Nick’s Cove
