Is there anything better than a holiday all about family and friends getting together over food and relaxing for a long weekend?! No. The answer is no. And that is why I am so ridiculously obsessed with the 4th of July. It is my favorite (well, besides Thanksgiving) holiday to celebrate and I get giddy and smiley just typing this. This year we get to celebrate on Lopez Island in the San Juans which is about as beautiful a setting for the 4th as you can get. Planning to BBQ, boat, bocce and bask in the sunshine.
