A Good Review

King Salmon Salad & Little Gem Lettuce with raw shaved Beets

One of the best parts of living in a city like San Francisco is how close everything is. When the urge for an impromptu date night hits, we walk right down the street to one of many incredible restaurants for a bite. Last week that involved a stroll to a neighborhood gem, Bar Jules (pun intended). Now, I have to start by saying I have been to Bar Jules one other time with a girlfriend and had a wonderful experience, and this date night was just as scrumptious. I have also discussed Bar Jules with an equally passionate foodie friend who agreed it is legit. Which leads me to ponder why on earth Bar Jules does not have a higher rating on Yelp!? Sure, it’s on the pricier side (as is everything in SF) but it is as close to market fresh as it gets. They don’t even print a menu, they write it daily…that’s fresh, people. I tell ya, it’s enough to make me sign up for Yelp to give it a good review. Bottom line, put it on your list and trust my review.

although not very photogenic, the wood grilled chicken over soft polenta, gypsy peppers and sungold tomato salsa was the standout dish of the night
