Happy Friday! You made it through another week, any plans to treat yourself this weekend? I’m heading to Seattle to give some much needed love to a friend but am thankful for a Friday night at home to rest before an early flight on Saturday…I tell ya, it’s the little things.
Kind of random, but this week’s happy list stems from the new policy we have in our house of keeping the television off during the week. We realized we were watching WAY WAY too much tv, and beyond the really stellar programming (John Oliver, Scandal, Sherlock, Top Chef, GoT and really anything on HBO, what are you watching?) we were also watching a lot of crap, or empty tv minutes that while great for a weekend or lazy night, was pushing bedtime to an unreasonable hour for no reason and making us useless humans. Ok, you get it, the point is here are a few of the things I enjoy and have been able to spend more time with this week thanks to the tv remaining off. Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh my goodness, I’m obsessed with this album. First of all, it’s the first CD I can remember buying in my adult life. Second, every single song is original and fun and packed full of great lyrics (which I normally don’t pay attention to but you can’t avoid them because they are so good). Definitely worth the buy.

Probably the greatest joy in life for me right now. If you haven’t been listening to Serial you totally aren’t “with it” and you really need to get “with it”. I’ve posted a few articles below to give you an idea of what to expect. #obsessed

Rolling Stone’s take on Serial

Can you see the trend I have in reading these days? Yes please is right! I will have you know I devoured Bossypants by Tina Fey a few years ago and would highly recommend that book as well. Girls rule!

I have also spent more time checking out new blogs I admire. Here are three awesome ladies doing really beautiful work. Check them out, sites below!
