Why oh why did I not think of this when I was in high school?! I keep thinking of all the little gifts I gave out to friends, most of them silly without any meaning, like at least a million and a half scented votive candles and twice as many bedazzled frames. None of it was even close to as darling or useful as these personalized stationary sets..I hearby apologize to all the girlfriends I grew up with and pass along this simple DIY idea for future gifting.

I found this box of cards and envelopes at Target but have since seen them at the craft store as well. I bought a set of letter stamps and an ink pad in metallic to compliment any colors I go for. This time I decided to do the first letter of my friend’s names but you could get creative with different words or more elaborate stamps. I packaged each bundle with a twirl of ribbon and they are ready to go! These are perfect for placeholders or favors at a dinner with friends, ideal for holiday presents for co-workers and perfect to stuff in a hostess gift on your way to dinner at a friend’s house. Stamping and assembly took me less than 5 minutes per set of cards. Go ahead, channel your inner Martha and let me know how it goes!
