Beach walk
I’m officially back from a dreamy trip to Sayulita Mexico. Have you ever been? What a special place and so easy to get to from San Francisco…just a 3.5 hour flight! Besides having an absolute blast with dear friends it was amazing to feel the vibe in this small beach town. It’s different from other places I’ve been in Mexico (namely Cabo, not my fave) because it feels authentic with just enough going on to keep you busy if you want to be but a super relaxed beach scene with lots of paddle boarding and surfing if you would rather spend your time there. If you haven’t been I highly recommend it for your next vacation (or wedding, it was beautiful as you will see) as it’s one of those unique trips you come back from feeling relaxed. A few pictures from our trip below.

I would say our room was rather inviting, wouldn’t you?

Sunset from our deck

First night’s dinner mission was all about finding a Mexican feast, mission accomplished!

The fire fajitas were incredible

Our pool looking out over the ocean

Margarita time!

This little guy was the guardian of the river into town

I wish you could see the detail in this woman’s painting, what a talent!

This little boy was super stoked to be flying his incredible Hulk kite, and I could have watched him all day, so stinking cute!

Souvenir success followed by immediate strip down for the pool

Team UD walking to dinner

A charming little Italian bistro in the middle of Mexico

The chef makes all the fresh pasta and portions them out, you choose your dish and once it’s gone it’s gone…I got lucky and had the fresh spaghetti with pork cheeks in a spicy tomato sauce

I could eat breakfast here every day, especially when breakfast is yummy cheesy eggs on corn tostada with hot sauce

Fresh catch!

The boys were in heaven with this little volleyball situation

On the way through town to the rehearsal dinner

Our table ordered at least 20 more tacos after the meal was over, so yum

After dinner drinks and games

Beer pong street style

Cards Against Humanity on the street in Mexico, pretty great

Maybe a few tequilas consumed at this point
