A few months back I shared this post after discovering a gem of a spot in Palm Springs. Well, get ready for round two because I have another one to add to your list on your next trip to the sunshine. El Jefe was the perfect spot to stop on the way into town for a quick taco and margarita before a few days of work meetings. The tacos were delish with the Hongos con Rajas (mushroom + veggie) taking the gold star. Even better than the tacos were the ceviches…amazing because I’ve never really been a huge fan of ceviche. My friends and I shared the camarones with spicy tomato, avocado and plantain chip as well as the atun (tuna) with serrano coconut sauce, lime sorbet, tomatillo and tostadita. So different from any other ceviche I’ve had and really refreshing for a late lunch in the desert. Definitely a go to for a good meal next time you are in town.
