Happy List Friday

I can’t believe we are already in October! Um, excuse me, hi…September, where’d you go? If the speed at which September slipped by is any indication the holidays are going to be here and gone before we know it. This is your friendly reminder to take it all in friends. It is such a joyful time of year filled with family and friends, it is important to drink it in and enjoy every minute while it is here. I for one am planning to make a list in the next few days of everything I’d like to do this holiday season. A pumpkin patch, some type of volunteer work and making some soups to freeze and have on hand for easy dinners are definitely on that list. I’d love to know if you have any fun suggestions? Hope you have a fun weekend!

  1. I would definitely suggest apple picking if there’s a place for that near you; we went recently and it was so fun. And, of course, fall desserts! I just made an apple cheesecake, but other list items include pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, and pecan pie!
