We are on the final countdown to Christmas and if you haven’t finished your to-do list it is time to buckle down and make it happen. The frenzy will all be worth it when you get a few days to relax and enjoy your family and friends with little distraction. If you are hosting your holiday get together and have yet to set the table maybe I can be of some help. Below is the tablescape I’m working with this year which I based on these gorgeous gold leaf glasses I received as a gift from a girlfriend. Aren’t they stunning!? I decided to play up the gold using the extra gold ball ornaments I had left over after decorating my teeny tiny Charlie Brown style Christmas tree. I absolutely loved my table last year but wanted to make this year’s look more conducive to accommodating platters of food on the table. The gold ornaments can be easily moved around to make serving a cinch. The best part is that all in this festive look cost me $25…$5 for the cranberries in the centerpiece, $3 for the gold name tags on the champagne flutes, $10 for set of 4 gold charger plates and $7 for the rustic snowballs (from Target). I am all about using what you have and adding little creative pops (like this napkin folding technique) to elevate the look, no need to break the bank. And of course regardless of what your table looks like, I hope it is surrounded by those you love most in this world. Merry Christmas!
